Kyla Pratt is best known for starring in the Disney show, The Proud Family as the voice of Penny Proud.

Being the voice of Penny Proud on The Proud Family has come to be one of the most recognizable roles of Pratt's career. Not to mention, Pratt has played in films like Dr. Dolittle 1-3 as the daughter of Dr. Dolittle and in the 90's film Love & Basketball as the child version of Monica.

Pratt is no stranger to television or film and has always been a fan favorite for her various on-screen performances.

Kyla's fans we're ecstatic to see that Insecure's Issa Rae gave her a cameo in season four, episode 6 playing Dina. The fan-favorite actress also took to Instagram where she shared with us a few behind the scenes pic's her and Issa took on set.

"A lil behind the scenes. Too much fun. Late night shoots with dope a** people. There are a bunch of outtake photos but we gone keep it cute @insecurehbo"

In the episode titled "Lowkey Done", Dina is in LA from Washington, D.C with a few of her homegirls from PG County, Maryland celebrating her bachelorette weekend. Issa brings the Pinot Noir and the girls head out to a paint and sip session where they immediately catch up like old friends.

(note: the D.C & Maryland reference pays homage to Kyla Pratts role on BET's One On One as Flex Washington's daughter)

When the girls leave the paint and sip session they decide to continue their outing at a bar for a bite to eat, and things take an unexpected turn--Dina and her crew dip out on the check leaving Issa stuck with the bill. Shortly after, Issa finds a checklist of Dina's weekend scavenger hunt that didn't include her in any of the fun #Ghosted.

After the episode, Kyla received so much love from fans through social media.

Kyla tweeted,

"The amount of love I have received over the past few day's has been amazing. Thank you again @IssaRae for letting me be apart of your baby #InsecureHBO"

As most may know, Kyla has been keeping busy with the much anticipated reboot of The Proud Family, which was announced in February and is set to premiere on Disney's streaming network Disney+ when complete. There isn't an exact date for when the reboot will be available, but all the original actors for the characters are slated to make their return.
