Mental Health is Wealth!



Right now the entire country is suffering from the affects of the pandemic. People have lost jobs, family members, friends, and co-workers.


Things suck.


Which is why this Mental Health Awareness month is so important, not just for you but for the entire country.


According to mentalhealth.gov ,


"Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act".


Sometimes we don't realize that we've been neglecting our mental health and doing such can lead to other problems that affect our daily lives.


Not taking care of your mental health can lead to things like, anxiety, depression, stress and much more.


Here are some things you can do to improve your mental health,






1. Love Yourself! - Avoid self-criticism and treat yourself with love & respect.


2. Self-care is the best care! - physical health improves mental health so take care of your body and get a good night's rest.


3. Positive Vibes Only! - Surround yourself with good people who can be your support network.


4. Namaste - Try to quiet your mind by meditating or sitting in stillness once a day for a few minutes.


5. Shake it up! - If you're used to doing things in a routine way, try to alter how you do your daily routine. Maybe if you jog, try taking a new trail the next time you go out.


6. Expectations=Disappointment - Stop setting unrealistic goals and expectations for yourself without having a back-up plan <-- This can cause anxiety and stress.


and lastly,


7. It's okay to not be okay - Going to get help is not a sign of weakness but a sign of strength because you realize that seeking treatment is better than doing nothing at all.




People who decide to put their mental health first can lead full, and rewarding lives.
